Hello - I suggest verifying that there is enough water pressure coming into the unit. Do you noticed if the spray arm is cracked or broken? Will it rotate slowly? If so, you might have to remove and replace the spray arm assemblies.

Use a liquid or gel detergent. Make sure the water entering the unit is at least 120-140?F and the water pressure is not compromised in the house. Also make sure the unit's sprayer arms can freely move.

From what you have described, sounds like the sprayer arms are possibly loose or being held into place and can't rotate, by dishware.

Assuming top spray arms are clear of debris It sounds like your pump/motor assembly is bad and needs to be replaced.Thanks

If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).

Also, There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

**Water temperature Note***

To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.

Concerning the Film.

This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaning agent. Try Dishwasher Magic. It is a very good cleaner.

you most likely have gunk inside the arm or holes not allowing the water to spray out and turn the arm. Otherwise, the arm bearing may be stuck and will need a gentle push to loosen up.

Either:

1. the water does not get into the dishwasher open the dishwasher 3-4 times during cycle, you should see some water at least once, if not - check water valve, water level float and water pressure.
2. the pump is clogged - there is water, the motor will run but no water is circulated. Check pump filters, check chopper and impeller.
3. motor in main pump is not working - could be caused by something stuck on the impeller or chopper or could be a problem with the motor itself or control board. Check if line voltage is coming to the motor during wash/rinse cycle.

This also happens with my GLD2350RC, except my dishes won't get clean. I believe its because the water does not circulate right inside. Also I have melted spots from where the arm rested on the heat element. I need to get this this back on.......
