I need complete "operation Manual" for Panasonic make "mini-DV" Palmcorder

I want to have a complete manual for my camcorder of make Panasonic mini DV palmcorder modelm PV-DV101D. I need guidance for transferring the datafrom palm corder to my P.C to burn the same into a CD.

when data from minidv is transferred to computer it is in the form of avi files.one hour data of mini dv comes to around20 gb ,how to accomodate this data in one cd i.e. 700 mb cd.

This problem is in the owners manual. It says that if you press reset and the problem keeps recurring you must have it serviced. Per the panasonic website if you purchased the camcorder greater than 1 year ago the flat fee for repair is about $265. Buy a new camcorder, thats the most cost effective solution.

Panasonic Palmcorder PV-GS85 Problem: Capture video with Windows Moview maker via USB

I believe you have to use a Firewire (IEEE 1394) cable to transfer the video. From what I have read, the USB connection is only if you want to use the camcorder as a "live" camera.
