Please give us more details, I don't know what reciever you want to use? AM,FM? or some other devices.
but if it's the am,fm reciever well you can find it in your instructions manual how to set it though.
just follow the steps and you will have it..
have a nice tunning
just don't rate me badly^^
ps:
make sure your antenna is connected properly..
have you tried to press the autoscan for fm? maybe it can't scan any frequencies.
well if you did this all, the audio driver through frequency reciever is broken. needs to be repair by a proffesional technician.
this is a IC (integrated circuit) in which drives the audio signal to the amplifier section.but you can use the aux for video and audio?
when you turn the tunning dial, will it change?

It's possibly only needs soldering of the voltage regulators. they are on the main circuit board heat sink (middle of the receiver and can be accessed by the bottom panel.
You should have no problem with 8 ohm speaker with this unit as you would with the 6 ohm speakers. The 6 ohm requirement is only not to go under that value. The only consequence of hooking up higher impedance speakers(8 ohm) to this system is that you will have slightly lower volume than with lower impedance speakers(6 ohm).
hook up the antenna at the back and try to tune-in to your favorite radio station.
read the description at the back of your rca rt2250, how to connect your antenna.
connect it properly and raise up the antenna, put it where the signal is good.
Sounds like your right side output is shot. And yes it can be fixed, but the cost factor would be higher than what you paid for the set itself. First see if your inputs are working correctly, this also could be your problem. Check all your connections.
Your problem is A blown output IC.. This should be taken to an authorized repair center. If you know how to service solid state electronics. Go to http://www.rca.com amd find an authorized parts house and order your manual from there. Or try http://www.partstore.com If you dont find it online there get the number and call them. Good Luck
