Check your old toner bottle and make sure the plastic "cap" is still in the bottle. These machines have an occaisional problem with the caps coming off (not the black screw off cap but the semi clear cap under the black screw off cap) and staying inside the black plastic "cup" that you insert the toner into. If the cap is missing it may be stuck inside this cup. If the cap is still in your old cartridge then try opening/closing the front door and letting the machine cycle to see if the toner light goes out. May have to do this several times. Had one customer just yesrday have to do this to clear the toner light after adding toner.
Good Luck.

Buongiorno, potrebbe essere un problema agli ingranaggi del fotoconduttore che non miscelano il developer. Dovresti provare a sostituirlo.

There is nothing to reset the toner will load itself unless there is another problem. Make sure the insert plug from the old bottle came out before you placed the new bottle in.

Aficio MP161 Toner bottle doesn't turn to add toner.

How many copies on that machine? The photoconductor unit on that model only goes 45,000 copies. If the machine wont tone up and the pcu is old i would replace it and calibrate to see if the problem goes away. The pcu is cheap for that model. Start there would be my advice.

REPLACE PHOTO CONDUCTER ERROR

photoconductor is the main unit in the machine. it has done its life of 60,000 copies so it requires replacing. if you open the front cover. the photoconductor unit is locater beside toner supply unit.
