Go to Menu, Messages, press the MENU key, highlight Message setup, select, go to "Folder view" and press change, select Address then press Done. "Changed: Message Setup" will show.

login and select 'Send New Text Message' link from the Inbox, Outbox, or Pending views.
Type in your text message and save for sending.
Run the Motorola TEXT application on your phone, and your text message will be sent. Your message record will be moved out of the Pending folder into your Outbox online.
I did more searching and found the answer! Clean out your inbox and outbox, and your phone should go back to sending normal messages. You might need to restart it afterward.
Try emptying your outbox. In your message center, scroll to your outbox, hit the menu bar, and scroll to where it says "clean up messages" - you should see an option to delete the messages in the outbox.
This tends to happen when your inbox/outbox gets too full. I have a razr also and this has happened to me. Try cleaning up older messages. Hope this helps.
I had the same problem but I didn't even have the Message Center.
First you need Motokit. Do a search for it and download to your pc.
open motokit
in the left pane is "menu setting" select it and click launch
a window pops up with a bunch of checkboxes and labels check the box next to "e-mail msgs"
Make sure everything that you want to show is checked.
click ok and the restart your phone
