It may be fully discharged, and you may be plugging it into a low-power USB port. Try plugging it into a USB port on the back panel of a desktop PC. Or, try charging it with an AC-to-USB adapter (plugged into wall socket).

There is no sound or display on the screen when it is power on

The Apple iPod uses a rechargeable, lithium-based battery that can go between 10 and 36 hours between charges, depending on the model. You can charge your iPod using either an electrical outlet or your computer's USB port, but if you find that your iPod no longer takes or maintains a charge despite having the right connections, you should try some basic troubleshooting methods to restore the device's battery life.

Connect your iPod to a different USB port or wall outlet. If you use a USB port to charge your iPod, you may simply have a low-powered port, according to Apple. You can often resolve this by switching the cable to a different port, or using a wall charger (sold separately) to recharge instead. Charge your iPod for several hours. If you find your iPod completely unresponsive even as it charges, leave it plugged in for three or four hours and check again. If your battery life has been depleted completely, the iPod will need time before it can begin functioning again. Restart your iPod. A frozen or dysfunctional iPod may fail to charge, but a quick reset can fix basic functionality glitches. To reset a touch-wheel iPod, hold down the "Select" and "Menu" buttons until the gray Apple emblem appears on the screen. For iPod Touch, hold down the "Sleep" and "Home" buttons (the only two buttons on the device). Connect your iPod to your PC using the provided USB cable, open the iTunes software and click the "iPod" tab in the left column. Then click the "Update" button to search for and install the latest iPod software. Apple recommends keeping your software up-to-date to ensure that your battery life remains fully optimized. Purchase a new battery from Apple. If your battery fails to charge despite all your troubleshooting efforts, it may simply be too old and depleted to continue functioning. By taking advantage of Apple's iPod Out-of-Warranty Battery Replacement Program (see Link Below), you can send in your iPod and receive a replacement battery or replacement http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/battery/ iPod for a modest fee.

The printer doesn't switch on anymore

Most likely dead. Also FYI 99.9% of inkjet printers are not economical to repair. Just replace them.

Hi, I have unplugged my MP3 player from my computer and it does not respond to any switch. If I put it back into the computer it reads that it does not recognise the removable device . Can you help? Thanks

Hi there,

Initially, you can hold down the power button down for 20seconds to do a reset.

You should do the "safely remove" procedure when unplugging the MP3 player from the computer's USB port, otherwise it will get fried and damaged over time. If you have just been simply pulling the plug off all these times, then I guess that was what happened - the battery got fried. Anyway, just try to plug your MP3 player to another USB port on the computer or better yet, to other computer's usb port.

Please let me know how this goes.

Garnin 260w slide switch will not turn off unit.

Try resetting the unit and also charge it using only the wall charger overnight. Here's how to reset -it just puts everything back to factory settings - 1- Turn unit on WHILE HOLDING your thumb in the lower right corner as shown in picture. 2-Select YES PLEASE Take the time to vote me up this is my only reward for trying to help. Thanks

Cannot start camera

That simply means that the battery is dead. It lights up thru USB port as the port has charging facility. But battery being dead does not hold the charge. Change it.

Insignia Exec. Shelf Sys. NS-HD2114

I have the same problem. I got it to reset by removing the internal battery and letting it sit for a day. Unfortunately, when I push the remote buttons too fast it locks up again. It is a pain to remove the cover and pull the battery. I don't understand why the unit takes so long to respond to the remote but in the case of my unit you have to be sure you don't push them too fast or it will lock up. I just sent a email to the company via the link provided here. I am not expecting them to respond but we will see.

HP office jet 7310

Please goto the HP website and see if there is a firmware update for this machine. Download and you can also download the procedure.

It seems to be that it's a controller issue and reinstalling the firmware will usually resolve the problem.

Hope can be some help
