the 'windows media player' program will burn cds if you have a library of music on the computer. when you open the program it will help you look for music files on your computer, and almost walk you thru the process of burning a cd. you can 'rip' cds (record cds to hardrive of computer), transfer mp3s from a device, or purchase music online with the windows media player also.
Hello, to Rip a CD to your computer means to convert the audio on the CD into a format that your computer can play, such as mp3 or wma. Windows media player can rip CDs to both formats and stores them in your music folder. Just insert your CD and the option to rip should pop up.
To Burn a CD means the reverse, to transfer music files from your computer to a CD. Media player does this a well, just click the Burn tab to begin.
Thanks for asking, and using FixYa

AVS DVD Player is a free universal player that I put on all Acer Ones that I sell. It is an excellent player, that can go full screen and handle every format. It will even play VOB files which are dvd files "ripped" from dvd discs. I have never had a failure with this program....
the unit youre using may not have the correct codecs installed.use microsoft update page to install all codecs.I use mp11 which is the latest but various media I play is not recognised due to codecs so I just use different programs to watch them.divx with ALL codecs is good to watch and burn all media not just avi
The latest upgrade is ver 1.9. It is a downloadable ISO in zip file format. Samsung recommends Nero to burn this. Burn this to a CD-R not a DVD. I also suggest burning at a slow speed... IE 10x and trying high quality media IE .... Verbatim. 90% of the problems are related to poor quality media or too high a burn speed. This disk has to be highly accurate for it to work correctly. I've updated over 40 of these particular players.
