Try and unscrew all the covers for the DS and locate the penny. Just try not to stretch wires or anything.

I just got my touchscreen replaced and now my ds wont charge, when I plug it in there is no light or anything and it used to charge before they fixed it

Hi,
If that DS has been opened by any tech, they are supposed to give warranty.
Bring back that DS to the one that repaired it and tell them that it was charging before you brought it to them, otherwise you could complain that some part have been( hopefully not ) replace mistakenly from another DS.
Hope that helps!

DS is stuck in charge mode when plugged in.

Your DS may have a problem reading the battery gauge, and the DS will only let the charger do its thing for a period of time. Then, if it is still connected, it may burst more charge in. This means that your DS is acting up, and your battery may have a rare (and not harmful to the DS) malfunction.

DS Lite Completely crashed

Some R4 cards were known to "brick" DS's. Not sure if they were defective or made that way. So it looks like your DS is dead. Unfortunately, this is the risk you take when you use 3rd party hardware.

No power

I don't know if your problem is a broken fuse...Sounds like it. Anyway, here are the instructons to repair the broken fuse:
http://m3wiki.com/index.php/Nintendo_DS_Lite_:_Repair_a_broken_console_(blown_fuse)

I could not get the wire to work. The fuses are only about a 1/16 of an inch long. I just bridged the fuse with the solder itself.
Here is a pic of the board:
