Need driver software for Printer Installation, where can I find?

You don't necessarily need your printer connected to your PC to install the driver. The driver installation is so that your PC can communicate with the specified printer. If you have the install CD you can install the driver and software. Now Depending on your printing machine, some installation CD's will ask you to please connect your Printer. If this is the case, there really is no way around that because the installation directions wont let you proceed to the next step without doing that.
Each printer and its installation software have different protocols. Some will let you install without the printer being connected, some wont.

Insert the software disc for the HP 1210 printer before you plug the printer into the computer with the USB cable. Allow the disc to install the software. You will be prompted to choose a destination for the software.
Plug in the printer USB cable to the computer when the installation program tells you to. This will be after it has installed any drivers that you need to run the printer on the computer.
Complete the installation by running a print test to make sure the printer software is installed correctly. You may remove the disc after the print test is complete. Installation without a Disc Visit the website http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html to find the available drivers needed to run the printer on your computer. On this page, select "Download drivers and software." Enter "HP 1210 printer" in the product box and click the arrow to find the drivers. Select your printer from the list provided. This will take you to the next page, on which you will indicate your operating system. Select the "HP Officejet and PSC Full Feature Software and Driver" under "Driver" to begin the download. After the download is complete, you can open the file from the download location and install the software and drivers. Follow the installation software's prompts, after you finish download the drivers you need to double click it,it will give you the option to RUN or DON'T RUN the driver click on RUN and it would continue the installation. Run a test print.

Other precautions:

1. Disconnect your printer from your pc and connect when the driver installation asks you to connect it.
2. You will need to perform this installation from an administrator account.

Did you plug in the printer before you installed the drivers from your installation CD? If not, you need to uninstall the hp printer drivers and unplug the usb cord from the computer.
Restart your computer, run the installation cd, and then after the HP installation says it's complete then plug the usb cable into your computer. NOTE: Some HP driver installations ask you during the install to plug in your printer so the software can find it. If thats what happens then only plug in your printers usb cable when the installation software tells you to. Once it detects your printer the installation will continue. Make sure you keep hitting next or continue until the software tells you everything is installed. Now your all in one printer should work.
