I bought a 720p pen cam instructions are small & unclear.

Sometimes the cams can be pushed too deep into the holes drilled for them. They also have to be at the correct orientation to start locking into position.

There is usually a number to call with the instructions if you are really stuck.

You don't say which console you are using. You need to reset second controller so the console can locate it.
If xbox 360 there is a very small round button on back edge of controller. You need to press this button and then also press the small round button on the front of the console. The lights will start flashing and after a few seconds the console should recognise second controller and you will have 2 green light lit up in the circle round the consoles power button.
If PS3 you need to press reset button inside a small hole on back of controller. YUou need to use a paper clip or something that will fit inside the hole. You may have to plug the controller into the PS3 using the USB cable and press PS button on the controller too.
