My MP3 player worked just fine for a month. Now it wont play the song...it just freezes. I cant find a phone number or a web site anywhere for the player...It is Emerson but not any of teh Emerson companies I have found.
The first thing you should do is backup and remove all songs through your usb software interface. be sure to have windows 10 installed. also, be sure that you're loading only .mp3 or .wma files to the machine.
What i meant to say was be sure to have windows media player 10 installed. it seems like a critical peice of software for this device. (unless you have a Macintosh)

When you download songs, save it first on your My Music folder for you to easily track the song list. Once you have successfully downloaded the songs, insert your MP3 Player. Format your MP3 Player first by right clicking the drive and click format. Once it is formatted, Copy the songs from your My Music folder then Paste it on your MP3 Player drive. *Note: Try to play your saved song in your Windows Media Player if the song is working fine before you copy it on your MP3 Player. And when you run it, click the checkbox for "Format Data Area." When the message comes up saying you want to delete all the files, click "yes-" it's worth deleting all your songs if it works properly afterwards. You'll have to re-sync your songs and the downloads take forever, but it works.
hmm... try hooking it up to the pc, go to my computer find the mp3 click explore go to music and select it all and delete it then try again it might help
