Samsung american style fridge freezer model SR2028CVW will only maintain temperature of both fridge and freezer if switched off at mains then back on at least twice a day.
The compressor and fan restart as normal and rebuild the temperature.Don`t know which parts to obtain and replace.

My Samsung SR-S2028CVW side by side had same symptom as gordon533's. After unsuccessful replacement of control board and power board by a local, experienced refrigeration company, they listened to my request to replace the temperature sensor in the refrigerator. The frost-free function requires that there is a cycle of warming, to thaw ice and allow the melt water to drain. The sensor was drifting so that the chiller did not re-start after frost removal. Sensors are a lot cheaper than control boards.............

This model has the electronic display above the ice and water dispenser showing freezer temperature and fridge temperature adjust temp buttons and ice mode buttons. This version has two drawers and two shelves below ice making equipment.
Any help very much appreciated.

same problem as gordon, but will come on again if left on, ice cubes partially melt and refreeze and stick together.

I have the exact same issue as Gordon553. Ice maker works OK but ice melts and freezes into a solid block. tried reducing the temp to minus 23 but with no success. Any help please?

I have the same problem our ice still works although the temp of the fridge and freezer both flash on the display to say there not cold enough! We read that defrosting the ice that collects around the fan at the back solves this?! Have done this twice but within a week it has frozen over again, even with the freezer on it's highest temp?!! I just dont think anyone should fork out for these anymore! C xx
