First remove the floor and back wall of the freezer. remove the ice from the floor and drain pan careful not to damage the evaporator and drain pan. to the right of cener on the bottom of the drain pan is the drain hole. use a turkey baster and hot water to thaw the drain, you should hear water dripping into the drain pan when thawed. install a heat probe whirlpool part number 819043. or wrap a thick piece ( about the size of a pencil lead) of copper wire around the heater located under the evaporator. make it long enough to go about 2 inches into the drain. don't let the wire touch the sides of the drain hole or touch the bottom of the tube, this will prevent the drain from freezing. i recommend using the heat probe from whirlpool but the wire will work too. hope this helps.
