Red line on the display and shows up on photos

Horizontal lines syptom is always related to its LED back-light section. Check and repair it first; if you can. Contact any service technician. In most cases, this fault might be of its display panel itself, because, most models of the Samsung TVs, the T'Con and LED drive system circuit are built in part of the display panel. If so; the repair will be almost impossible. Replacing the display panel will be the only remedy. As you know, it will be best to buy a new Tv; instead of replacing the Display Panel of any LCD TVs; as the cost of the panel + repair charge will come around 80% price of a new Tv. Press the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This button turns the LCD screen on and off to save battery power. You would then use the "peep hole" (optical display finder) in its place.

It is likely the main board that processes all signal to and from the display panel (entire front screen unit).

It is also possible it is the display panel itself which is fatal.

Possible failure of the display unit of the camera is the picture taken is sowing good image after downloading on the PC.

I had a similar problem where the screen went to a pink shade periodically. Sony sent me a memory stick, with download instructions, that fit into one of the back ports. The problem has gone away. It was a software correction.

It sounds like a resolution problem which you can fix your self just right click personolise or properties then set your coulours to as high as it will go. Then set you resolution to high.

Do the pics show when you press the playback button? Does the menu display? If the display works, then check the menus to see whether image review got turned off. If the display doesn't work, it needs to be repaired/replaced.
