I have a combination electric stove with the microwave built above it. The model and serial numbers are all together. The nymbers I found are 77497245/11355-84512060. The handle on the microwave broke off. Do you have replacement parts for it?

"Repair clinic" Be sure to have the manufacturer, the model number & serial number. I have found this site to to be most useful when fixing most household appliances.

we have the same tappan oven/microwave combination. We are looking for the knobs for this. Its a great oven, but we need these parts. Our microwave handle broke a long time ago and we had one made from wood. If you are going to ditch the old oven would you be willing to sell the knobs?

if you open the cupboard door above the microwave you should see two or four screws/bolts holding the microwave up there. there should also be an electrical outlet up there where the microwave is plugged in. have at least two strong people. put some blankets on your stove top to protect it. unplug and remove the screws. it should be connected in back by a metal plate also. when the microwave is tilted down at a fourty five degree angle, you can give a little lift and it should pop off the plate in back. it is heavy. get a new one at sears or other appliance retail outlets. i dont recommend best buy. they really screwed me over so i dont send business their way.

We have a stove with no downdraft, and a microwave with a hood above it. It works just fine. I expect you could keep your downdraft and put a microwave without a hood above it, and that would also work. I don't think, however, you can buy an above the range mocrowave oven, that slides in on brackets, which will not have a hood.
