How do you change the light bulb inside the oven on a Whirlpool Gas Range, model # Super Capacity 465, self cleaning oven?

I had the same problem - the glass housing just turned a little and would not unscrew. So, I used an old fashioned oil filter wrench - the strap kind with a rubber liner. That got it to turn past whatever it was stuck on and it unscrewed normally after that. After I screwed the glass housing back on, it got stuck again, but as before, it came right off with the old fashioned oil filter wrench. Just make sure it's clean with no oil on the rubber liner.

Just unscrew the glass cover and change out the bulb.
