After using broiler on Maytag Gas Range model # CRG9700AAW, without a problem, left the kitchen, eating in another room, stove starts ''beeping'', error code F2 is displayed. Hit cancel. Beeping started again, again, hit cancel. This continued all evening, finally turned off 110 power to control panel. Next day, powered up, now displayed error Code F3 when I tried to turn on the oven. Does this range need a new control module or? Stove is in Excellent condition, not ready to replace it.

I had same problem, same model. Twice in 4 years. Was the lower ignitor gone bad. First time I assume to old age. 2nd time wife overloaded a roaster pan and it overflowed during cooking, and got liquid/**** on the ignitor somehow and killed it.
New one is $43 (http://www.repairclinic.com/Shop-For-Parts?s=t-crg9700-%3d%3d) online. More like $65-75 locally.
Tip: Upper (broiler) and lower ignitors are identical. For a quick test: Swap out the top one to bottom position and see if it works.
It has just today happened AGAIN to me 7 months later. Hence my being online for this.
It's an old horse, and 2 burners up top are acting funny for some time now. Rather than throw more good money into it I think I may trash it and just buy a new stove.

you know i am thinking more towards a bad temp probe.

Switch on regulator to stove shut off is on. Explain this a little more I do not understand.

F7 stuck keypad
Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on.
Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

We may have found it -  google Maytag Gas and Electric Range Service Manual (1997 models to present) and save it as a PDF to your desk top.  Then print out the PDF pages # 18, 25 & 26, 52, 62 65 & 66.  Those pages sound exactly like the problem we're having, which sounds identical to the problem you're having. We now suspect the issue is the gas valve heater coil and the volts it needs for ignition.  Because without enough volts, the ignitor won't ignite (like, duh?).  The specific PDF page is # 66 in reference to the Glow Bar Operation item # 4. If we're right, we'll need to get three small parts, totaling about $60 in all.  Let's hope this is the solution!

you have to allow the broiler to warm up. give it a few minutes (maybe even ten) eventually the broiler will come on.

Convection oven and Bake will not heat past 200degrees. Broiler works fine and the range works fine.This is for the Model # MGR5875QDW, Gas Precision Touch Control 800, can you help. Thanks Kasz3
