My traxxus rustler has stopped working xl-5

simple process of elimination, start with the steering servo,plug it into one of the sockets and test the steering. if it does not work, move it to the next socket. not too sure why you have a 4 channel radio tho, you only need 2.

I would imagine it might have something to do with water turbulance? Do you have a sensor thats located at the bottom of the boat somewhere? In my grandpas boat, the sensor is at the rear bottom near the hole where you can drain the water, if your going very fast it doesnt work very well, slow or stopped and it works fine. If you have that type of sensor make sure whatever holds it is tight so the sensor cant move around.

either that or you got some funky wiring issue lol

Since it is only a year old, I would get the dealer involved.

I would recommend completely shutting down the console, unplugging all cords from it, then letting it sit for a minuet or two, then restarting it. if that doesn't work, go into the game's settings menu and make sure that the controls are set to default.

The most common reason for this is that you have a bad capacitor. If the capacitor is bad, and not sending enough "juice" to the compressor, then it will "click" off on overload. Capacitors can be checked using a multi-meter, set to check mFd (microfarads)

The ESC (electronic speed control) is what the battery and motor are connected to. It gets the signal from the receiver and controls the power to the motor. If the motor revs I would check: 1) Make sure set screw is tight on pinion gear on motor. 2) Check gear mesh between pinion and spur gears. 3) Check slipper clutch to make sure it is not too loose, it should only slip for about 12-18 inches when you pull full throttle from a stop. i think same problem as me check ur brushes clean them with a little oil on the mottor ny have lost contact with the shaft.

If the motor is not trying to move at all check to make sure that the motor is connected to the speed control and the speed control is connected to the receiver. If you can hear the motor run, check the pinion gear on the motor to make sure it is tight, and check the slipper clutch to make sure it has not backed off.
