Did you purchase this from a hotel? If this set come from a commercial business, you probably do not have an original remote. These sets are marketed as just a TV with few functions.

The TV might have set to Hotel mode. To get it out from this mode, you have to enter its service alignment mode [SAM]. Check this link to get more details about it. left side bar, or view it in Timeslide option.
M (menu) 7935 (regular menu appears), them press
4725 (menu service appears), then search HTLSRC (position 090), then
set value 032 (this value disables Hotel Mode) - TV. Now Hotel Mode is
deactivated. It is verified!
M 7935 4725, go to HTLSRC (090), fix 032 - press TV. Good luck!
-Press Enter and On/Off on the media center , on standby mode
-now hold the enter button pressed and start pressing the On/Off button. You should see a setting display on the player. The setting on display should change from video....till...Hotel Control -ON
- on that position, press the Volume 'minus' button on the media center. It should change to Hotel Control - Off.
