Only 1 playlist is allowed. This is called "favourite".

When playing a song....hold/press the = button.

A popup will appear.

Choose favourite.....and it will be added to your favourites playlist.

I haven't found any other way to create a plylist on this device.

    I try to make my own playlist too . But I can't always download them in good quality and for free. I was recently faced with the question of how to lela lela le download mp3 . The track is very popular and easy to find on the Internet. So I found a solution with https://lela-lela-le.mp3juices.red/ . Now I have 230 tracks in my list of favorites. How do you group your favourite songs?

Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"

My playlist won't load to the mp3 player

Model number? Manufacturer name? Here's generic advice: use Windows Media Player 11 to transfer.
Here's more generic advice: turn ON automatic synchronization (if your mp3 player is a Philips, esp)
Here's more generic advice that can be applied to many mp3 players:

If users of X20 want to create playlist, please change connection type as MTP.
( X20 -> Setting -> Advanced -> Connection Type )
After then, you can create playlist with WMP11.
