Hello sir, recently i have downloaded NFS Undercover but the problem is that it is NRG file(.nrg) which cannot be open,burn or istalled.Plz tell me how to burn that file to a DVD or how can i change it to ISO file(.iso)...........

you can only open that file and make the icon file visible to your desktop by downloading cd or iso burner through nero, demon or alcohol. because .nrg files is a image extension file generate through software applications cd and iso image burners.

NRG is the Nero Software's equivalent format for an ISO file. You can either use Nero Burning rom to write it onto a disk and use it or you can use a program called nrgtoiso to convert your nrg file to an iso file and write it onto a dvd or cd using any burning software

if you are working on windows XP or Vista then you can use a software to install game
First download software (Daemon Tools) from

and install it

now mount you .nrg file (if you dont understand how to mount .nrg file then learn simple steps from http://www.digital-digest.com/articles/mount_watch_iso_files_page1.html)

you will see a new disk drive in my computer.

NRG extension is for Nero Image, You can open it with Nero. Once you install Nero on your computer the nrg extension will automatically get associated with it and when you double click on the nrg file it will open with NERO

Its an Image file, usually for Nero Burning Rom, if, for some reason, you want to extract the files the image contains, create a new folder on your desktop.
Run ISO Buster
Choose Open in the File menu and open the .nrg file.
Select all the files in the right pane.
Right-click the selected files and choose "Extract Objects".
Choose your new folder to extract the files into.

The .nrg files are nero files. Download daemontools from http://www.daemontools.com/

Daemontools is a virtual player that works like a cd/dvd player

Install daemontools and mount the .nrg file, play/run the file, that will solve your problem.

Hi, Please Follow these steps:- 1. Run MagicISO 2. Click button on toolbar 3. Choose NRG file and click Ok to open. 4. Click to extract files and folder from NRG files.
