Tv power light flashes on and off, but no picture or sound

try changing the back light inverter that's what light the screen some sets have separate back light inverter while some comes in he power supply...good luck

Not sure right off bat, however unplug it from the wall for three or four minutes plug it back in it might reset it?

Power board require changing.It dead.

I have the exact TV and had the exact same problems. It is the light engine with color wheel that needs to be replaced, and they are VERY hard to come by for this model. Our repairman has had our TV for 5 months and still cannot locate a vendor that carries the part. He said according to Toshiba, the part has been discontinued. If you happen to find one, please post. I'll do the same.

tv will not power on. red light on switch blinks. power relay clicks, but no picture or sound.

You need a new HV transformer. Usually you can just buy the transformer itself. It's a little black tower on the backside of the tv. If it's not that, it's the convergence ic's. There's two of them, given it's a toshiba, the part number is more than likely stk392-110.
