Does it sound like the machine is spinning as fast as on longer cycles? Some machines run a slower spin speed on small cycles which can leave clothes wetter than normal. I've got this on mine and all I do is when the wash has finished I change over to the fast spin only program which then takes it to it's highest spin speed.

SOURCE: Clothes too wet upon cycle completion...

Try reducing the amount of low sudsing detergent you are using. This can make the load too heavy and won't spin out. Remember suds have 3 parts, air, detergent, and water. The drain pump is designed for water, so if you see suds during the wash, it will be worst on warm and hot, then there is too much detergent, or is not low sudsing. I know Bosch reccommends HE, however HE liquids normally are not low sudsing, just High Engery. Also the Permanent Press cycles are always a lower spin speed. Hope this helps

SOURCE: Washer spin cycle won't spin

This sounds like you have a bad clutch if it's a direct drive top load. ...have to pull the motor, drop transmission, and replace.

Is it normal for the washing machine to start and stop the spinning while the machine is in each cycle? Should it take over an hour to run one wash cycle?

Yes...they use less water...so they start, tumble, then cycle again adding more water. I use the fastest setting on all my clothes which is 1/2 hour. It also does start and stop during spinning to tumble the clothes. It speeds up as it goes thru each stop till it spins real fast. All my clothes wash perfectly on fastest cycle.

My Washing Machine is not spinning all the water out of my clothes.

Front loading washers are notorious for not spinning the water out of a small load of clothes. This is because there is not enough clothes in the washer to balance the tub during the spin cycle.

Try washing a slightly larger load with a minimum of six items or more. This is one of the downsides to front load models and no specific brand is immune to the problem.

My bosch does not always completely wring the clothes out at the end of the cycle causing me to have to put the clothes through another wash. Has anyone had this problem?

...at the end of the wash, I then set the dial to DRAIN, then press start.  I wait for a special drain cycle to run.  Then, I set the dial to SPIN, and wait for a special spin cycle to run.  The clothes are much dryer and spun out after this process.  I'm not happy with the washer, it came with my new condo.  BUT, I'm trying to learn how to use it.....

Bosch Nexxt 800 series - washer doesn't always spin dry enough

First inspect the water pump then the pressure switch. Soap buildup can cause this too.

Bosch Nexxt 800 washer won't drain clothes fully

There is not a Spin Only Cycle BUT there is a REFRESH cycle that will take about 10 minutes.

Sometimes when the load is unbalanced and the machine can not balance the load by itself, the clothes will remain soaked. To avoid this, make sure you always have a balance of small and large things and when loading your machine, do not shove the items in so they ball up.

My Bosch Nexxt Essence front load washer is making a knocking and squeaking noise during the whole spin cycle. It sounds like it's coming from the drum mounts - what should we do?

My Bosch Nexxt Essence front load washer will not drain. I changed the lint filter, and insured that the drainage hose was free of debris. I removed all the wet clothes, wrung out the excess water, and redistributed the clothes. Still, no draining or spinning. Initially there was a humming sound, but now there is no sound at all when I try to restart the drain or spin cycles. All the lights are appropriately "on".
