I have a Sony Grand Wega KDF-E42A10 LCD projection TV. Just this morning it started to turn off for a few seconds and then turn back on for a couple of minutes ... then turn off again. The cycle continues. What's going on?

this does not sound good---model indicated is a lcd which means it may have a bad optical light engine and unless under warranty too much to repair as part alone over one thousand retail.

I also have a Sony KDF-42WE655 42" Lcd television. We just changed the lamp (bulb) several weeks ago and has noticed that everytime we turn on the television it stays on about 30-40 seconds then cuts off. After about 15-20 seconds it cuts itself back on. Weird!! It must have something to do with changing the bulb!?!?
