6 months ago I purchased an Insignia Flat screen HDTV. I recently noticed a verticle line seemingly burned in at the 3" "non hdtv"side bar. It is under the original 12 month warranty with an extended warranty from Best Buy. Can this be repaired or does it need to be replaced? i dont want any "bs" when I call them. I have in home service. I dont want to "lose" use of tv while it is shipped for repair, only to find out it has to be replaced. Tech lingo would be helpfull.Thanks
Best thing you can do is call 888-Best-Buy and schedule a service call. I wish i could tell you if it would be a repair or replace situation, but that will greatly depend on the part availability for your TV.
Insignia parts are often very hard to find (only 2 or 3 parts vendors in the US) so the sooner you call the better your chances of a quick repair.
