Tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv colors lines R,G,B mis alingments,have colors shadows pictures or 3D pictures look alike?The tv convergence board have dead 2 STK comvergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead too.These parts on the tv convergence board,must be replaced to solved the tv pictures convergence problems.The shop,will cost like $300-350 for parts and labors.

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. A bit of fuzziness is expected especially when you move. How fuzzy depends on speed of your computer and the capture ability of the camera. I have quickcam that is 1.3 megapixel. Stationary objects are pretty clear, but all motion is fuzzy and distorted. Move slowly to help minimize the distortion. When using instant messaging or Skype, set camera to a smaller image size for faster compression and transfer.

the video playback is sampled off the video out and independently processed sorta like a TV signal to project on the lcd screen.
horizontal lines means you lost sync circuit and needs troubleshooting. Hopefully maybe a bad connection with a ribbon cable for the ICs and components are hard to change and jammed tight. I would order a video board.

This is purely an age issue u can get the chip replaced however costs the same as buying a new one unfortunately. average life span of the se sets is 5 years i would say a max of 7.
