I have a problem with my 50cc moped/scooter. Basically when i try to start it up there is no response either with the electric starter or the kick start. I have been riding on it a few times this week. It has been giving me trouble to start but will eventually turn on. Then once it was on and i would ride it, the revs were very low! It (the revs) would go up and down and some times when i had to stop the bike would completely cut out.

I had same problem. I changed the starter and all is good. Before you do that, check all your connections at the battery, starter and grounds. File frame where ground meets it to ensure a good ground. Do the same for the other connections. Try it. If it still clicks, it;s the starter.
iya mate ive just read your artical it could be your starter motor if not has your battery got enough power init to turn the electric start or try the kick start
