Hi,

This issue might occur due to an unsuccessful alignment process.
Make sure that you complete the entire alignment process that is print the alignment sheet and then scan it through the scanner.

You may follow the following article as well:

You may find the product manual here:

Also if you want to skip the alignment ,try holding the Enter button down and pressing Setup.

I have a HP PSC 1510 all in one printer. How do I keep it from printing a sample page every time I turn it on ?????

The printer probably giving you an alignment page each time it starts up because the catridge alignment wasn't completed. Place the sheet face down on the scanner glass and press the scan start button. This will finish the process and the printer will remember it was done, and no longer print that page every time. You can download a copy of the manual here from HP if you need one for reference.

All of a sudden it will not print but as soon as u turn the printer on it prints like a test page

may be you chaged the catridge.
It is not the test page it is alignment test page just put the printed alignment test page paper on scanner glass and press the scan button to complete the process. It is alignment process which is printer is doing for self testing after installing new cartridge. Just finish the process.
Hope this helps. Please rate my response.
Thanks.
Have a good day.

Test page

Brivron, The printer will continue to print the test page at startup until it thinks the cartridge alignment process has completed correctly. Running through the process on this HP support page should take care of the problem. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00473778&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=428800&dlc=en&lang=en Let us know if you have any more questions and please don?t forget to rate this posting.
