depends on the damage, water can be on circuit board. your insurance should pay for repairs if they bought it for you. try finding a used one on the internet, but you are taking a risk.

These are rare model with a limited service support and it is important that you need to get this part ONLY if the failed unit has a universal replacement which must be checked physically with any electronic showroom. If this is not properly confirmed please do not spend any more money on it as a replacement also can be short lived if the quality of spare is poor.

It is a wigit finger print. Anything that happen, does happen, could happen, will happen, happen to disappear, you can count on it that a darn wigit had something to do with. There could be more than one wigit also.

The optics on you Night Owl are Russian manufactured. So, it a Russian wigit finger print.
Now which optics lens has the finger print, viewing optic, 50mm input optics. So you need to tell me which optics and I will help you remove the lens by written instruction OK. I have a Night Owl NOCX3 setting on my work bench. stewbison

After a fall like this (even on carpet) it probably has a cracked circuit board or a loose connector, first (since you took it apart any way) look for all connectors, than unplug them and re-plug them to make sure all plugs and boards are seated correctly, if you still don't have luck, than take out all the circuit boards and check them for cracks under a good lamp and magnifying lens, than repair the cracked traces with a good soldering gun by scratching off the varnish coating and applying solder. (if the crack is to wide you can solder a peace of coper wire to the trace on the board)

You need to locate a company that specializes in repairing car radios. They are few and far between. The only one I know of, and I'm not sure they are still in business, is Downtown Radio in Charlotte,NC. They were an authorized Delco repair facility.

If the fuse blows again after replacing it, there's a shorted diode, bridge rectifier, capacitor or transistor in the power supply.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. Most tv's do have an internal fuse, so if you open the chassis (which is the back part of the tv and slide it out and away from your circuit boards) the fuse will be located where the cord comes into the circuit board. Look for burnt or scorched spots on your circuit board also while you have the back off. I am sorry to say that most often than not in cases of lightning strikes the damage is expensive to repair and replacement of the devices is usually cheaper. take the front speaker cover off and unhook the circuit board for the buttons its like a 7 pin connector our's did the same thing and we spent 200.00 getting boards soldered just to bring it home and it still flipped thru channels and then shut off. I took the circuit board off and it works fine.
