I can not get into internet

It sort of depends on where the problem manifests itself. On the most basic end, you need a wireless router configured to use your internet signal and the networking options on your Wii configured to match the security settings on that router. But if you're encountering difficulty with an existing wireless network for which you know you're providing the correct credentials, you may be able to make changes to the settings on the Wii to obtain a specific IP address. More information about the problem is most likely necessary.

To access the internet with your wii console you'll need either a wireless router/gateway, or a wii wired LAN connector.

1. Power on your Wii console
2. Access the "Wii Setting" menu by selecting the circular wii icon in the bottom left of the screen and then choosing wii settings.
3. Use the arrow on the right of the screen to move to page two, then select "internet".
4. Select "Connection 1 ' None"
5. Choose "Wireless Connection" (assuming you have a wireless router), then select "Search for Access Point".
6. Wait for your wii to scan, then select your wireless network, and if prompted enter your wireless network password/key. Then click "OK".

You should now be able to connect to the internet. If your Wii runs a connection test and it proves unsuccessful it will display an error code. If you get Error Code 51330 or 52130 this means the password you entered does not match the password on the wireless network you are attempting to join. You need to access the menu and reset your internet settings (choose your wireless network and password). That should resolve your issue. If not, try unplugging your modem and router for 1 minute and then try again. Let me know.

Error code 50230 is thrown when the Wii's internet connection has not yet been configured. These instructions on configuring the connection settings come from Nintendo's website at:

1. Power on your Wii console and press the A Button on the Wii Remote to reach the Wii main menu. Use the Wii Remote to select the "Wii" button.
   
   
2. Now, select "Wii Settings" to access the "Wii System Settings" menu.
   
   
3. Using the arrow on the right side of the screen, scroll to page two and select "Internet."
   
   
4. Select "Connection 1: None"
   
   (Don't see "None" in Connection 1? Click the Connection 1 button, then choose "Clear Settings.")
   
5. Click on "Wireless Connection" and then "Search for an Access Point."

6. Select "OK" and the Wii will display all the wireless networks it finds.
   
   
7. Select the wireless network that is yours.

8. Select "OK," "Save Settings," and then "Yes."
   
   
   • The Wii console will run a connection test with your wireless network when the test is completed. You should see the following screen:
     
     As long as you see "The connection test was successful," the "Wii Support Code" does not matter and can be ignored
     
   
   
   • The connection test was successful - Then you're almost done! After your connection test, the Wii console will check if there is a new Wii System Update available. Once you select "Yes" and "I Accept," the Wii will begin to download any available updates. Click here to find out what's next!
   
   
   • The connection test was not successful - If the test was not successful, you will receive an error code.
     
     • Error Code 51330 or 52130: This means the security code you entered into the Wii is not the same one your router is set to. Look in your router's settings and try again. Please refer to step seven (7) above for more information.
     • All other error codes: Try our error code troubleshooting where we have detailed information on many common error codes. (You can ignore any "Wii Support Code" you receive on a connection test.)

You need an internet connection or a Wi-fi connection to acess to the Internet. Configure your router settings on your Nintendo WII console.

From the wii home menu...


Go to Wii Options in the lower left.


Click on Wii Settings to the right.


From this first list, click the right arrow.


Now on page 2, click on Internet.


Then click Connection Settings.


From this list, click Connection 1.


Then, click Wireless Connection...


and then click Search for an Access Point.


It will briefly search for any access points and when this screen comes up, click OK.


The following will be a list of nearby access points. If the one you are looking for doesn't show up, click Try again. Then, click the one you have access to...


When the following screen appears, click OK...


and OK again.


It will test the connection...


And if successful, the following will drop down. Click Yes to update Wii.


Sometimes the above screen is false, saying there is an update when there isn't and the following will appear...


Now, back in Wii System Settings, click on WiiConnect24.


From the following list click WiiConnect24.


Click On and then Confirm to save your settings. This feature allows for updates to be seemlessly sent to your Wii so you don't have to do the final step every time.


Ok, the final step, just as a way to make sure your Wii is up to date. Click the right arrow from the 2nd page of Wii System Settings.


Click Wii System Update...


click yes...


it will test your connection for a few seconds...


an update screen may quickly come up and tell you there is an update (whether or not your Wii actually needs one)


and the following screen will appear. Click Wii Menu to finish.

The wep code is the security code for your wireless network. this is setting of the router.
Is there any computer online using the router.
check the IP address on that computer.
If yes then you can open the router set up page on
that computer.

Ok, sounds to me like the security settings on your laptop for the wireless network card are configured in HIGH safety mode. The easiest way to resolve this is to:

1. goto control panel (start - settings - control panel)
2. open network connections
3. right click and select PROPERTIES on your wireless network connection
4. click on tcp ip (interent properties) double click it
5. goto advanced button (lower right hand side)
6. options tab
6. goto properties button for ip filter
7 uncheck (if checked) Enable ip filtering

that should fix ya up.

Try resetting your router. Do this by having physical access to you router, and there should be a reset button (or hole) in the back of your router. You may need a pin or something very skinny to fit it through. Hold it for 20 or 30 seconds. After it is reset, type in your address bar 192.168.1.1. When a dialog box appears asking you for your username and password, leave the username field blank and type in admin for the password. The router configuration page should load up. Scroll down and change the Local IP Address to 192.168.2.1. Scroll down and click save settings. Atttempt to configure your Wii's wireless internet settings all over. Your Wii should be able to connect to the internet now.

Go to device manager and make sure the wireless network adaptor is properly install. Also got to services and make sure the Wireless Zero configuration service is running. Go to network connection and setup the wireless connection again after deleting the old one. You may have to contact the wireless router manufacturer like Linksys, Netgear in case you are not sure of the settings
