Sympton Problem Solution
Rolling Screen?
Black & White. PAL Video is selected in error. Click on the TV SYS button located on the DVD remote near the Power button.
Light to Dark Picture. Connection to VCR or TV/VCR combo. Unplug the DVD player from your VCR and connect the DVD player direct to your TV (bypass the VCR). If TV does not have audio/video plugs, or if you have a TV/VCR combo, you will need to purchase and install an RF modulator (available at most electronic retailers).

The light to dark picture? Condition is caused by the disc manufacturer's license encoding at the time of manufacture. It is not cause by the DVD102 player.
No Video. TV needs to be switched to the correct input mode. Your TV must be switched to the correct video input selection. You can only switch the TV to accept an outside video source by using the original factory remote. Locate the button on the factory remote that switches the TV input. The most common descriptions on remotes are: GAME, TV/VIDEO, A/V, VIDEO, INPUT or SOURCE.
Universal Remote Code. The code has not been published. The Universal Remote manufactures create the codes.
Region Error. Software issue. Return the DVD player.
Unit Displays No Disc Even After a DVD has Been Loaded. Defective unit. Return the DVD player.
Unit Displays Loading Even After Giving Adequate Loading Time. Defective unit. Return the DVD player.

Here is what I was able to find.
If not let me know and I will try finding more info

My recommendation would be to get a Harmony remote from Logitech, it's configured using a computer and USB and would work for all the functions of both your TV and BT Vision box. It will even create Macros so that things happen automatically with 1 button press.

Hi. We are trying to setup a phillips tv through a bt vision box please

  1. A TV aerial feed - The BT Vision box gets its digital TV signals over-the-air, so needs a TV aerial. This needs to be connected to the aerial input socket on the V-Box. There is an output RF aerial socket to allow you to connect an aerial feed to a TV if required.
  2. SCART lead - You need to make a connection from the Vision+ box to the TV using a SCART lead. If you have a HD TV set, you can also connect via an HDMI lead (not supplied).
  3. Connection to Broadband - You'll need to connect from the BT Vision+ box to a BT Broadband connection. This is done using the BT Home Hub. The Home Hub is the Broadband router supplied by BT, and it connects into to your phone line to give you Internet access-The most common way to make the connection, is to connect an Ethernet (networking) cable from the BT Vision+ box to one of the Ethernet ports on the Home Hub. If you can't make a direct connecting to the Home Hub, you can use powerline adapters to make the connection. The self-install kit includes two Powerline adapters to allow you to connect to the Home Hub if it's in a different room to the BT Vision+ Box.
  4. The BT Vision v-box has an additional scart socket, which can be connected to a video or dvd recorder.

I have a one for all remote I need the programing codes for a Sanyo tv

Universal remotes are normally pretty good. Search online for the codes for your tv's model no "Sanyo model blah remote code" or some all in ones ask u to turn device on only. And after it makes it go into standby you press a button quickly and that's the code learnt. You may find some Sanyo codes will do all your functions and some more basic codes will provide limited functionality. Hope that helps.

I have a john Lewis remote that won't work my Bt vision box, despite the codes which I have entered from the instruction manual

I recommend that your contact the company cables, and consult if the john lewis control is compatible witht Bt box.
They will instruct if this will be work. Otherwise you must replace by other remote such as R.Schack that work very well.

sincerely. God bless you
