Keeps flashing c31-42 and shuts down - Sony Handycam DCR-TR7000 Digital Camcorder

the flashing light is to tell u that there is something blocking the suction of machine , most times its a full dust cup or hepa filter blocked this if allowed to continue will over heat the motor so it shuts off to prevent motor damage

Have to start at the beginning---Lamp? Ballast? Color wheel?

Just unplug it from the wall. Then open the flap and look for what might have caused the warning - usually it's paper block - and remove it.

If TV shows high bright light of either red, green or blue and shuts off then it got related color picture tube problem that will be replaced.
Bad picture tube replacement is job of qualified tech because it requires multiple adjustments after replacement. Please check with local tech for an estimate.

The red off switch keeps flashing on and off

Try to set the monitor in the factory setting this will discharge the monitor and restore it in the factory settings.

Check your user manual for resetting the printer to factory default settings.

If that doesn't work, unplug your printer from the computer and uninstall your software through Add/Remove Hardware. Shut down your computer and reboot. Reinstall your printer software, following the instructions carefully.

This should clear up your problem.

could be many issues, but lets start easy.

uninstall all browser toolbars, and macromedia flash

once uninstalled go to www.adobe.com, click on Install Flash Player and follow prompts

Try a new battery if that does not work then you should take the phone and have the firmware flash to correct this error.....take the phone to a mobile service center to have this done.

camcorder when turned on flashes in red DEW and closes it self down. i have taken all the batteries out and replaced sometimes after a few days the camcorder will work then DEW will rea ppear and shut itself down
