Your only other option is to return the unit to Garmin. Be aware, however, if you are not the owner of record, they will not return the GPS unit to you.

You can take it to your home location. You set it when you first choose a code. When you go home the unit will unlock itself and at that time you will want to reset the pin code. I hope this was some help
Take it back to the 'secure location' as indicated in your service manual. It will automatically unlock when it gets a full satellite signal. You have to enter the PIN number twice when setting up the unit. You should always use a number which is familiar to you so you can remember it. If you can't remember it, and if your secure location doesn't unlock the unit, you will need to send the unit to Garmin to unlock it. You will need your receipt for Garmin to unlock the unit.
Place your thumb nail in the groove located under the Garmin logo on the bezel.

If it still asks for a code and you don't have it, it should ask you to drive to a secret location to unlock the device. If you don't know the location, the only other option you have is to send the unit to Garmin to be unlocked.
