You should: Insert your MyFi into its home stand and plug the AC adapter into the wall to charge the battery. But if its really not charging a battery replacement is already needed for this unit and you can get the battery from a authorize service center.
IF you take it out of the home dock and run it on batteries, I'll bet you it works again. The newer home docks TURN OFF the FM transmitter. Try a car dock, or try it with just the power plug plugged into the bottom of the MyFi, without the home dock and see if you can now get the FM transmitter to work. Let me know. Thanks and good luck.
It is a difficult to replace surface mount part. You are stuck with using a remote control for the 'roller dial' function I'm sorry to say. Or buy one on eBay that works and transfer your subscription.
try doing away with the external fm transmitter and use the one thats built in to the delphi you just go into settings and set it to a station that has no channels and tune it in
I have the same problem. I finally was able to get Delphi Tech Service and found out that these units have a flaw. they have been going out after about 14-18 months and there is no known repair... neither does Delphi offer a repair service for this problem.
