Keurig turns off after making only one cup, when turned bsck on, it makes a loud buzzing sound for a few minutes, then shuts off again (during this buzzing, always says "not ready", never gets back to "ready to brew" stage)

Unit uses a Magnetron and likely a power board called an inverter to run it. Someone would have to open the unit in a way where they might pinpoint where the sound is coming from and then take action--does not of course sound normal or good to me.

Call Keurig 1800 Cup Brew

No solution but we are on our 5th replacement from Keurig. Everyone has done exactly the same thing. It worked fine for a few weeks, than started turning off after brewing a cup. Like the problem states, the only way we can get it to work is to turn off and wait 15 minutes or so, then try again. Keurig has been great in replacing our coffee makers, but I really like it to just work.

I had this problem, and it was a defective pump. After some phone tag and a few conversations with the technicians, they sent me a new brewer.

I am having the same problem and will report back here if I find an answer. If I keep turning mine back on, wait for it to go off by itself. Turn it back on again...and again. Eventually I can get a cup of coffee. But my one-minute coffee cup usually takes 15 or 20 minutes.

Mine was a gift, so I'll probably just see if I can swap it out.
