Hi Kimmy
I suggest have done these check.
1. Check whether mouse is plugged in to correct port.
2. Clean the track ball which is inside in the mouse.Hope u will known that.
3. Make sure the mouse pad is clean.
4. Check these three things mail me back now.

Hi, Please use the connect utility to re-sync after battery swap or unexpected disconnection :
ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/mouse/
Then depend which version of set point you are using, I recommend you to upgrade to set point 6 setpoint600.exe 23.7 MB 25/02/2010 13:48:00
Then start menu -> Logitech -> Mouse and keyboard -> connect utility

HELLO, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO DOWN LOAD THE SOFT WARE THEN PLUG IN THE USB AND AFTER THAT ON YOUR RECIEVER CLICK THE CONNECT BUTTON ON THE RECIEVER TILL IT RECONIZES BOTH KEY BOARD AND MOUSE I HAVE THE LOGITECH WIRELESS SYSTEM AND I LOVE IT TILL THE BATTERIES GO OUT ON THE MOUSE OR KEY BOARD LOL THEN RESTART YOUR COMPUTER.

well, check the cable of your mouse ( the end cable is color green) reconnect it to a PS/2 port which is also color green, located at the back of your system unit OR if its connected to USB then reconnect it to a USB port then restart your computer.ok?
