Did you sync it? here's how to sync it:

Step 1: Power on your Xbox 360 consolemy controller will not link with my xbox. it just - 2_bing.gif. In this guide I'm assuming everyone already has their hooked up, if not, contact me.

Step 2: Power on Xbox2_bing.gif 360 Controller. Make sure it has a battery pack that has correctly place and working batteries or charged re-chargeable battery pack.

Step 3: Locate the small circular sync button on your controller. It is near where your controller can be plugged in (between the LB and RB).

Step 4: Locate the small circular sync button on your Xbox 360 console. It is next to Memory Unit slot 2.

Step 5: Press and hold the controller sync button until the green power lights start spinning.

Step 6: While your controller lights are still spinning press and hold the console sync button. The console's lights should spin also, then flash, and finally show the player slot light on both the console and the controller.

Viola! You've synced your wireless controller! You can sync up to four controllers.
Also, you can use this guide to sync to different Xbox 360 consoles. So you can bring only your controller to your friend's house.

Note: If you sync your controller to another console, you will have to re-sync it to your own afterwords.

How do i sync the wirless controller to the xbox

There's a button on the front of your 360 and the same button is on the front of the controller. You hit the button on the 360 and the green lights around the power button start to circle. Then you hit it on your controller and the green lights around the xbox guide button start to circle. In a second or two they'll find each other and both will flash at the same time, and it's synced up. I've linked a video for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim.

My xbox 360 will no longer work i plugged it in yesterday and the green power light in the middle came on but i got none of the flashing green circling lights that appear just before it gets to the...

The flashing lights on the outside of the green power button are the status lights for any connected controllers.
Just turn on one of your wireless controllers and the green status lights should come on.
If you turn on a controller and it doesn't automatically connect, press the connect button the top of the controller and front of the Xbox at the same time. This should connect the controller.

Cannot open the disk and cannot read the disk as well. The green light at the center of the ring always blinking

Hello
If you only get a flashing green light on the center while you turn on the console. You should get a green light going in a circle around the center light, (the 4 other lights, that can turn red as well (famous Red Ring of death))
if you don't get any red or green lights around the flashing center ring, then the console is not able to turn on / boot up properly and is in need of repairs, check the powersupply led, what color is it? it should be green when you power on and orange when not in use.

I cant get the xbox to work from the controllers, when i press the "x" button on the controller it just keeps flashing and doesn't allow me to link up with the console

The "x" button is the xbox guide button that is in the center of your controller.
1. First, turn on your console by pressing the power button on the console itself.
2. Next, press the xbox guide button that's on your controller. (The button that lights up and flashes when you press it).
3. On the front of your console, just to the right of the memory card B slot & just below the right corner of the DVD tray, there is a small, round connect button.
4. With the both the console & the controller on,(lights flashing) press and release the connect button on the console first.
5. Then on the controller, press the connect button (green arrow, circled in red) that's between the Left Bumper button (LB) and the charging port (blue arrow).

6.The lights on the controller and on the console should continue to go in a circle and stop.
7. The upper left quadrant is controller # 1, the upper right quadrant is controller # 2, bottom left is # 3, and the bottom right is # 4.
8. Once the controller connects the the console, you're all set. Then the next time you go to turn it on, just press the xbox guide button on the controller and it will turn the power on to the console for you.
9. If you ever take your controller and use it on another 360 console, you have to go through the same connection steps as you just did. And then again, when you get back to your console

Hope this helps! Happy gaming!

Wireless XBox controller won't sync with the PC adapter

I finally found a solution that works for me (most of the time). I bought a USB hub (un-powered at the moment) and the problem seems to have disappeared. The Hub however isn't the solution. Running the controller or the hub from the rear motherboard ports is.
I was initially using the 360 wireless receiver from the front ports on the PC which are driven by a different circuit on the motherboard than those from the rear of the PC.
When the receiver is run from the rear ports or in my case a hub powered from the rear ports it works most of the time.
Ocassionally the receiver doesn't link with the 360 controller however unlike last time when pressing all kind of combinations of re-sync buttons did nothing, all I do now is press the very tiny white button on the front of the controller and it links up like it should within 1.5 seconds.
I hope this helps guys as the controller is great when working.
Cheers

Xbox360 problem

You need to connect the controller to the console. Hit connect on the controller so the lights flash in a circle. Then hit the white button on the console and they should find each other. If not check batteries..

Hope this helps
