How do I get my HP Photosmart 8250 printer to keep from printing a blank page every time before my actual document? I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7 if that helps.

you need to have authentic hp cartridges,if you bought cheaper,it will not work.

ok..do us a favor here..try a test page from printer selection panel. just to make sure it's not the printer..you may need to re install new printer drivers.

I had same problem with hp psc 2410 all-in-one. Finally ran "HP all-in-one Series Web Release Uninstaller version: 4.1.1.00.1332 (3/20/2007) that I had downloaded several years ago. Then plug and play took over and installed the correct driver that Vista kept insisting I already had.

I know your model is the 8250, but if you follow this video it should give you same desired result. When you go to chose the printer it should be the 8200 series and same for the driver. Hope this helped!

It could be printer error. If you click print more than once that usally will happens!

Connecting a non HP scanner[Canon] to the printer may be a software mod on the printer so that it will only work with HP devices. The only way round that if this is the case is to work through a third party software[image editor]

check HP tech help re this- obviously if the previous HP worked and now the new one does not then there has been a change. If you still have the old printer disk or software. try reloading that and see if the new printer will operate through it

This is a compatibility issue between the Copy function of Toolbox and the specific HP printer driver. The only work-around would be to scan your image and save it, then print it from another application. One other possibility would be to get Toolbox version 2.2.x from the N650U scanner download page. This version will be limited in functionality, but COPY button should function as expected.
