Unplug the television. Connect the VGA compatible monitor cable from the laptop's VGA monitor Output to the VGA Input on the back panel of the television. You will need a splitter to connect the audio cable from your laptop to the VGA Audio Input on the television. Never mind if you have speakers connected to your computer.

Press the Device button on the remote control or on the television front panel to display the Device Selection Menu. Select the device you want to view, in this case VGA. The only compatible resolution is 640X480 at a sync rate of 60 Hz.

Do not leave stationary or letter-box images on-screen for extended period of time to avoid uneven picture tube aging.

Hello,

Try to fix and resoldered cable connection from specifically on the horizontal and vertical panel. there some loss connection it it. but if this not solve the problem you need to test the voltage regulator that regulate the power to project the picture.

Would you like to bypass, defeat or reset your Mitsubishi HDTV Parental V-Chip parental lock? Have you forgotten your V-Chip passcode or password?

If you forget your V-Chip passcode, you can view the locked TV without entering your password.

When your passcode is requested, press the number 9 and the QV button on the original TV remote control at the same time. This process temporarily unlocks your TV.

When you enter the V-Chip Lock menu, pressing the number 9 and the QV button on the original TV remote control at the same time will delete your old password and prompt you to enter a new passcode. Pressing HOME at this time will cancel the entire passcode.

Relay Connector on Mitsubishi TV
IF IT IS A WS-55511 what you are reading is with the speaker grill removed--there will be one or two sets of wires coming from the front keyboard--before you remove the entire screen assembly you need to follow them to the right and unplug both plugs.

The screen assembly will have about 5 screws at the bottom edge--with both plugs free and the screws removed you pull up and lift the screen about 4 inches and pull it off--if you have questions ask before you attempt to remove the screen unit--tell me also why you want to remove it.

My son was moving his WS-55517 and during cabinet
You better take this TV to the Hospital. A local tech will be able to explain to you what needs done. This is the best solution, as you can certainly make things worse.......And its safer!!!!

Connect hp pavilion to mitsubishi ws55511
Well, I do have an answer for this one, but your not going to like it. The only resolution this tv is compatible with through the VGA input is 640x480 @ 60 Hz. I have hooked my laptop up to a tv similar to this one and the best way of doing it is basically any other input that is available out of your laptop. Mine was an S-Video port. It just doesn't look good through the VGA. I know it's not the answer you were looking for, but it's the truth.

1) Replace / resolder original connector

2) Install new connector

3) Replace tuner-provide make & model for part # of tuner

Format stuck on Mitsubishi WS-55511 Rear Projection TB
Normallly, if the format button on the remote does not achieve the desired affect, then, a cable box or a satelite box is where the change needs to be made. For example: A Motorola Cable box needs to be set up to go to a wide screen when an analog signal is detected. It's difficult to determine the repair without knowing the hook up of the peripherals. Hope this helps.
