Looks your power supply quit. Get a new one from vizioparts.com might cost a buck and a half,plus an hour of labor, but 52"? deffinetly worth it! Vizio is good on parts. Make sure, have your serial# ready. some sets have been modified within a year, might get a wrong part without ser#.

I have a 47" Vizio

This problems the tv serveral vertical lines show up on the LCD screen panel by itself?Yes,the tv board that call the T-CON decodering board is dying.The T-CON decodering board it sit at the middle bottom of the LCD screen panel.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decodering board for the replacement.If these vertical lines cause by an object or a person by hitting the LCD screen panel,tv is not repairable,because the LCD screen panel is dead not worth replacing because the LCD screen panel are 90% important to the tv and cost the same as a new tv.
