My TV was working fine until I switch over to Verizon FIOS. Once the JVC was connected to the FIOS, It suddenly stopped working. When I turned on my JVC it will come on for about 10 seconds shut itself off and the off-timer light start binking. Good sound for about 10sec but no picture. The OFF Timer light will blinks steady, until theTV is unplugged.
I left the TV for a day like this and it kept blinking. Last night I turn the TV on around 0100 hrs and it played for 2hrs as though nothing happen. I than turned it off. Around 0700 the next morning I turn it on and it played for 10 mins and it shut itself off and the off timer started blinking.
The off- timer continue to blink unplug TV then replug it back into the outlet. The TV only stays on for 10sec and shut off and the off-timer. The same thing occurs as before ;when I turn it on, I get a thin line across the middle of the screen. This TV is only 4 years old. Is this TV to old for the new FIOS signal? Is it worth repair dollars?
