IntelliTouch® Control System Personality Kits There are several types of IntelliTouch Control Systems available for different pool/spa configurations: • Shared Equipment: Pool and spa combinations with shared filtration system - Pool owners can enjoy the convenience of motorized valves for water flow separation between pool and spa. The Personality Kit models are: • i5+3 (P/N 521219) - Four auxiliary circuits plus filter pump operation (create a Feature circuit for valve actuators without using an existing output auxiliary circuit, and special light functions for color lighting). Five relays are included in the Load Center. • i7+3 (P/N 521220) - Six auxiliary circuits plus filter pump operation and the +3 option (create a Feature circuit for valve actuators without using an existing output auxiliary circuit, and special light functions for color lighting). Two relays are included in the kit and five in the Load Center. • i9+3 (P/N 521221) - Eight auxiliary circuits plus filter pump operation and the +3 option (create a Feature circuit for valve actuators without using an existing output auxiliary circuit, and special light functions for color lighting). Four relays are included in the kit and five in the Load Center.

This usually indicates a faulty EOC, electronic oven control and it will need to be replaced. Here is the part to order.

Resyncing the Pentair Mobile Touch
To reset the Pentair Mobile touch after receiving data retrieval error when using any of the function buttons.

1)From main menu select the menu button.
2)Then select setup.
3)Then select advanced.
4)Then from the 4 lower buttons select 2 and 4 simultaneously. (Secret Buttons)
5)Then select MAN Address lock button, (4th button down on the left), you should see a number displayed at the top.

Go to outside main panel.
1)Hit the reset button on the right side of panel.
2)The three system control led's will illuminate for approximately 10 seconds.
3)Select the F button
4)Then the led's across the board will start to cycle in order, searching for a house address.
5)Then after 30 seconds the system control led's will flash a number code The led's are numbered 1-8 plus the heater led is 9, and the solar led is 0
So you will see the code being flashed example 1,6 (Yours will be different) ,over and over until the reset button is once again pushed, but do not push it yet.
Go back to the remote you will see a number at the top of the screen, (Be sure you have selected the MAN from previous) you can change It by selecting the + or - button enter the same number code you got from the panel. Our example 1, 6 (yours will be different), select save, and reset the outside main panel.
You are now done!

I have the same problem. I was told by the local Pentair repair company that the most likely cause of this problem is the Transformer (the chirping sound is the big clue here). You'll need to get a new Transfomer Assembly module.

I've been having the same problem - I don't have the complete solution but can tell you what I've been through so far. After 4 service calls and a visit from the local Pentair rep, they have replaced both circuit boards on the personality board. When they reconnected the spa-side remote, the electronics circuit tripped again. They are telling me I need to replace the spa-side remote, but I haven't since the repairs to date have cost me $1700 and they want another $700 to replace the spa-side remote. $2400 for a system that's 5 years old is ridiculous so for now I'm on hold, especially considering it may have been the spa-side remote all along. Don't know if your system includes the spa-side remote - if it does, disconnect it and see if the problem resolves itself, the remote may be the culprit.
