Logitech mx3000 keyboard

Hi

I have a logitech mx3000. I had to put new batteries in the mouse yesterday and that was fine. I also swapped the batteries in the keyboard and put a fresh set in. This morning I log onto my machine and find that the mouse works but the keyboard doesn't. The function keys work but the main body of the keyboard doesn't. I've reset the base station and re-connected the mouse and keyboard but still don't get any response from the main keyboard.

Did the same as the person who first posted this problem. Repleced batteries in keyboard and it doesn't work. Can't even get the "Control/Alt/Del function to work so I can log on. However, I can push the "sleep" button on the keyboard and my computer will go into sleep mode. Tried all the things the other person did and as instructed on Logitech support, but no success. Please help.

    Thanks, Bill

Problem with LOGITECH S 510 cordless keyboard and mouse..

Hello,

I have this same keyboard/mouse set and love/hate it when the batteries die. After you change the batteies, power on your pc, press & hold the connect button on the bottem of the keyboard first and then the connect button on the transmitter. Release them and wait for a few seconds. Repeat the same steps for the mouse.

When I have connection issue with this keyboard after new batteries, I have found most of the time the problem is the connection to the pc and/or batteries in wrong. Good Luck

I got a used MX3200, got the mouse working right off, but no keyboard. This solved my problem: with the wireless mouse working took out the keyboard batteries, pressed connect button on the receiver, replaced the keyboard batteries, pressed connect button on the keyboard. Voila!

Keyboard

Try typing randomly all over the keyboard for a minute to discharge the capacitors. Then press the connect button on the underside of the keyboard and see if that works. Let me know how it goes..
