No picture or sound

I have a Mitsubishi WD 52525 television. The lamp light is flashing and will not stop. There is no picture now. Last night I had bad picture from satellite and great picture on blu-ray but there was no sound either way. There have been no problems otherwise.

Just replaced the lamp. no picture yellow light flashing?

There may be a capacitor issue with that unit. Here is a link to a thread on help to repair that if it is an issue.

Our Mitsubishi WD 52525 goes to blue screen and shuts off.

It sounds like you TV is overheating and the video is suffering and the lamp is overheating as well. Also, if your TV is over 2-3 years old, the mirrors (behind and below the big front screen) desperately need to be cleaned. Clean all filters and fans as well. (Look on side and behind the unit). Is the TV in a "hot" environment and/or dirty environment? DLP TV's are NOT sealed units. They need to be cleaned every few years to work well to have a good, clear, bright picture.

Replaced lamp, sound but no picture

Try unplugging the set for 5 minutes and then replug it in, allow 70 seconds for it to boot up (LED stops blinking). See if it works then. If not press the input/device button and menu button at the same time read a 2 digit code (blinking led) flashes first # short pause and the flashes 2nd #. This will be necissary to determine your cause. Most common besides lamp is power supply caps that cause intermittant operation.

I have a hitachi 62" LCD tv.when you turn the tv on,the power light flashes for a few seconds then the temp and lamp lights flash. The tv does not give any sound or picture.

When is the last time you changed the lamp? They only last 1-2 years, depending on hours used. If not then power supply capacitors would be next. Have it checked. Or buy a lamp in change it.

WD-52525 Red lamp Indicator

usually with that model when you get a 34 eror code for lamp abnormality, its directly related to the capacitors on the Power Pwb. You can get the V26 Power PWB repair kit at the following link which repairs that issue. It contains the replacement High temp capacitors with the board location numbers and PWB identification as well as the service manual on CD. Heres the link its under their repair kit ctegory.
