I think I am quite confused for what I want. So maybe you can help. I am non-professional player of Yamaha PSR 730 with no music knowledge I Play by ear/hearing only. What I Play: Mostly remix old songs to give dance/house/club beat mix kind of music. I cannot sing while I play but I want to & intend to apply effects to vacals. What I am eyeing: Akai MPK 49/25, Korg micro sampler, Roland Sp 555, Korg kaossilator pro, Akai MPC 1000 What I want ???? is for you to advice. Due to nature of my job I travel a lot - so something portable will be good but not necessary. I want to play & add lot of effects to my notes & to my percussion/rhythm/sample. Idea is that I should enjoy playing & listeners should tap heavy on dance floor. I do like to ply slow sonds as well. I liked Sp 555 for effects & launching pre-fabricated samples which can be loaded from library. I liked MPK 49 or 25 since it has the keyboard inbuilt but I am not sure if it has library of samples which can be launched through its pads & if has instruments? I dont want to latch a computer - coz I am a player like a DJ not a music producer. But I definitely like to have a lot of memory to store eithther onboard with option of expansion or on memory card - a USB connectivity gets always a need in todays world. I can replace my Yamaha PSR 730 if I get something all together(keyboard + synthesizer + sample workstation) within the price range of say US 200 - 900 - lesser the better. Am I aasking too much - ??? Simply I am looking for a toy to use - little of my musical senses & the toy make the stage blast. Thanks again SM
