Your knob is faulty and will have to be replaced. You can get one from repariclinic.com or patselect.com along with directions, pictures, and more.

Washer will not cycle

The cycle doesn't advance When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

  • It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

  • It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

How do I fix water not staying in the wash tub of Twin tub, LG WP 750R?

If your drain is not high enough the water will siphon out while filling. Check your owner's manual for correct height, usually about 39 inches from ground

Kenmore 80 Series Overflow

We've now had this happen three times and the exact same thing caused it all three times.

If the water level selector knob hasn't "clicked" into one of the given load levels on the control panel(i.e. the knob is in between levels) it will continue to fill until you discover water everywhere and turn the knob until it "clicks" into a level.

As far as I know, it has nothing to do with loose hoses or bad switches, it's bad design. There seems to be no safety mechanism to turn off the water if you over- or under-shoot the desired water level.

? Overfills. Doesn't seem to acknowledge water

put the washer on fill, now turn it off,if the water stills fills it is a bad inlet water valve,if it does not the water level hose might have come off or the water level switch is bad,let me know what you find-mike
