Creda Oven Model ESO 210 broken multifunction selector knob

Creda Oven Model ESO 210 has broken multifunction selector knob for selecting oven function - broil or bake etc. In removing the knob I see the plastic piece which rotates the illuminated dial to indicates the mode is broken in 2 pieces (half fell out). Where can I get a part or repair. My literature does not have a parts list. Can you find a parts list or part for this model? I hear Creda is not licensed in the US any longer. Is it a UK company? I live in Madison, WI

Same thing happened with my Creda ESO 210. The function selector works find. It just doesn't rotate the piece of plastic that has the funtion symbols on it. I contacted the authorised parts supplier in Canada and was told it would cost $90 for the part. After a long wait, the part arrived and it wasn't the correct piece (they'd ordered the little plastic circle with the function symbols on it instead of the knob thingee that moves it). So, if that cost $90, I dread to think what the broken mechanism would cost. So, I gave up and I simply count the clicks from the off position to use my oven. However, if you really want to follow up on this, you can contact www.creda.co.uk.

I am looking for the digital read-out for my Creda ESO 210. It just quit working. Could you give me the contact number for the supplier in Canada to see if I could order the part? Thanks, Gary in Hawaii. [email protected]

How do I turn the Miele oven on? Model is H6260BP

To turn on the oven, press the recessed On/Off button on the left below the rotary selector knob. Make sure that the system lock is off. (The display will show S 1 if it is on.) Press and release the function selector and rotary selector knobs if they are retracted. Rotate the function selector to the desired function icon (line up the dot). Then turn the selector knob to select the oven temperature. Press OK to start cooking.

Miele has the manual for the H 6260 BP oven on the product site on the Downloads tab: https://www.miele.com.au/domestic/ovens-1451.htm?mat=09514470&name=H_6260_BP . The direct link to the manual is https://www.miele.com.au/pmedia/ZGA/TX3587/10108150-000-01_10108150-01.pdf . See page 21 for a picture of the oven controls.

I hope this helps.

Bottom oven element stays hot will not cut off

In order for the element to stay on, the oven switch must be broken. No details are provided, but if your oven is like most, you have an Oven Selector knob for ~bake, broil, clean and another knob for Temperature selection.

Look at your Oven Selector knob closely to make sure it is not slipping on the shaft. It may be as simple as the knob being broken, and even though you are turning it to the Off position, the switch may still be on. If the knob is indeed turning the switch shaft, then it is most likely the switch stuck in the own position. Thanks for using FixYa.

I have a Fridgidaire Galaxy Oven, can you tell me how do I set the self cleaning oven?

Greetings,
I can't locate your model number, but, if you have the one with an electronic control..just put it to clean and maybe set the clean time and it should start the cycle and lock the door by itself and start cleaning.

if it has knobs for selector, and a knob for oven thremostat and a clock with two or three knobs.
put the selector on clean, put the thermostat on clean and then go to clock and set the stop time three hours past the time thats showing on your clock(providing its keeping time) and lock your oven door and it should start.....Bruce Denton

Where is the thermostat located in the main oven of my Creda Europa Solar oven. Thanks

Depends which thermostat you are referring to.
Thje main oven stat is on the control panel, and is marked with the temp, the sensor being located at the top rear of the oven compartment.
The other stats are located at the top of the oven outer casing under the the top cover. you need to remove oven from housing to access these.

Creda cooker grill not working, elements replaced, still not working. any suggestions?

Could possibly be grill selector switch faulty, or, depending on the model, it is sometimes caused by a faulty main oven door switch.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
