My Samsung i70 switches itself off after a couple of seconds

Are you sure you have an SD card? The i70 works with SD cards, which max out at 2GB. It does not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

What type and size memory card are you trying to use? The i70 works with MMC and SD cards, 2GB or smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

Sometimes they just need to be reset
1 turn off power to switch (Circuit Breaker off)
2 wait 30 seconds
3 re - turn on power to switch again (Circuit Breaker on)
4 wait for lights to turn on by themselves ( about 15 seconds after power is turned back on)
should be OK after this remember to not enter the beam after power is turned on ...... (see #4 above) as this would make switch beam super sensitive. Hope this helps

you cant change it yourself and would result in damaging it more. Please get it changed at a service centre

Take out battery for 30 min. Or you can leave the battery to be emptied and phone will switch itself. Don't turn on just plug in charger.

I have had exactly the same problem. It appears to be to do with a fluctuating power source, believe it or not. I certainly didn't know my power fluctuated! Try charging from different sockets in your house. Mine works in one socket only! It's a single socket, whether that is significant.

Yes, we had few situation with different digital cameras and professinal camcorders damaged in I/O port board due to power surge type damage. It is rare but depending on design of circuitry combination with laptop system. The problem is with the ATT UVERSE HDTV BOX and not the Samsung DLP TV. There is an inherent problem with the ATT UVERSE HDTV Box when using a HDMI cable. This was verified by the ATT UVERSE Technician.
