you prob dont have the right network key entered... either that or u didt put the wep,wpa1,wpa2 or whatever else network setting u have on your router set too...
This is a common issue, do you have a thumb drive or aka flash usb drive? If you do use your computer to d/l the firmwareupdate HERE then load the firware update from the thumb drive onto the ps3 via one of the usb ports on it, and hopefully this will fix your issue.
