COPY PRINT OVERLAP AND DARK

it is related to laser unit BD mirror problem. you have to replace laser unit.

If the lines repeat in a regular fashion, with a consistent distance from each other, you need to replace the imaging drum. I would take a print out with the horizontal lines on it, then fold the paper up until two of the lines overlap each other; this will tell you the general diameter of the drum and give you an idea of what to look for inside the machine.

The PC1061 does not have the option to connect it to a PC for printing. It is basically an analog machine.

First replace drum cartridge

have you tried to clean the mirrors under the glass. If they get dusty this will cause dark copies. Hope this helps

wiring or module fault

Pull the tray out and look inside to see if the paper flag is dislodged.

OR you can do it yourself.

your problems seems to be Dirty Mirrors.

Your copiear has 6 mirrors that need to be clean up. 5 of them are kinda easy access. the other needs to be clean thru something thiner than your fingers. (you can see the mirror but no way you can reach it).

Now dont worry (not yet) about that 6th mirror since THEORICALLY it doesnt get dirty.

So try first to clean up the other mirrors. and see what happens.

They are located below the platen glass (remove it) and be careful with the lenses (do not touch them). clean everything that seems to reflect light Or images.

If nothing changes you may want to try out with a new cartdrige. Your drum may be done.
